Ross grew up in a large family in the Virginia Mountains just outside the DC area. In grade school Ross struggled with literacy until the 3rd grade at which point he became an avid reader and proceeded to write his story’s. From that point it became a dream of his to be a published author. Following high school, he enlisted into the United States Navy. During the nearly eight years in the Navy, Ross traveled extensively and learned various trades, from fire fighting to becoming a master welder and pipe-fitter. He took these trades with him into the civilian sector and continued to work on sea vessels for the next 30 years. Ross has one grown son who lives in the North Carolina area. Ross enjoys travel and the 4 G’s.  Ross is a member of the Northern California Publisher's and Author's (NCPA).

Yvonne enjoyed a fulfilling 25 year career as a Funeral Director and she retired from her career in May 2019.   Along the way, Yvonne garnered a BS in Management and went on to complete an MBA in Management and Strategy and continued to certify as a Six Sigma Black Belt Professional (SSBBP).  All of this in addition to the industry licensing she procured in Death Care. Yvonne has 3 boys, her son and two nephews she helped raise as her own.  She loves to travel and has traveled extensively across the continental United States. For her next travel adventure, she is hoping to visit Belize with her husband in the near future.  Currently, Yvonne enjoys membership in various organizations, such as, the Tapestry Network, the National Notary Association, the Northern California Publisher's and Author's, North Sacramento Chamber of Commerce, the Rotary Club of North Sacramento - where she is a Board Member and the Placer Women's Network where she is also a Board Member.
