This was our first contest book. We used the concept of writing in short fiction formats to drive authors to craft stories which go from ordinary to extraordinary. This was not the place for a dramatic twist at the ending. Rather we wanted everyone to know something was going to happen. To take what they considered ordinary and pour something extraordinary into the story. Think Twilight Zone. 

The stories came as quite a surprise to us.  We were inundated with submissions for this anthology. Most did not meet the requirements we asked for which led us to decide we needed to create a project from these submissions. Submissions which rely on the end twist. You know the kind, think Sixth Sense where you have no clue Bruce Willis is a ghost.
