Each chapter is written in the style of a serial novel. Each chapter leads you to a cliffhanger at the end. Each time you reach the end of one chapter you find you have to turn the page to see what happens. Next. The chapters are filled with the innermost thoughts of each of the Warren children as they search for the truth about their mother and themselves.

Along the way we meet their father who is himself a witch. We take part in the lives of each of the Warrens as they begin to form an idea of what they must do with their powers. We sit and watch as they are confronted by other beings who seem to think their mother was something the Warren’s can’t believe. Won’t believe. Each determined to find out the reason these new beings are after them until it culminates in a battle of epic proportions choreographed by someone the Warren’s have discovered is as powerful as they are.

In the end? Well, now I won’t ruin it for you. This a page turner for sure. A great read about witches and what it means to find out you are one. To find out your mother was one of the most powerful of them all. To find out what an enemy truly is.

This is an interesting novel for us to publish. It is more of a young adult style of writing I found enjoyable. More of a lighter side than the normal hard core I am used to. It was a delight to read for me. As is the person who wrote the Heirs of the Blood Queen.

C.S. Patra is an Amazon bestselling writer who came to us out of the blue. After several emails we found we enjoyed Ms. Patra’s personality and excitement over her story. We asked her to send us a sample of her new book. Ten pages is all I wanted from the middle. I found myself intrigued with the story right away and asked for more. By the time I had several chapters I wanted to publish it.

Ms. Patra’s style is easy to digest. Easy to find yourself hooked on. She uses her writing experience to craft a story of the supernatural all of us can relate to. Especially the characters themselves.
